Airports, airports, airports

After a while, they all blend into one

That which lies beneath...

It even looks scary

But then again...

...it's unlike anywhere you've ever been!

Bayern, Brezn, Schweinebraten und Altbayrisches Dunkles

Sometimes you have no expectations whatsoever, going to a new place. In this case, a new country even. Germany has been alittle hit and miss really, in my case. However when work sent me to München, I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The traditional houses, the traditional food & drink and the people were so nice. The weather was great too, from the lightest of snow flakes one morning, to really nice and warming sun the next, as me and my colleague crossed the train tracks where we shouldn't really...

Then, walking back to the hotel in this very quaint little village, you notice the wall of the alps in the distance, still white and ready for skiing.

Oberhaching and the Alps (in the distance)

I look forward to going back.

Typ Norw Easter!

You know, this was the first time in a long time I've been home for Easter. I stopped over in Oslo and travelled with my sister Maria and her boyfriend Harald Martin, and as we came over the mountains, it started snowing! The only thing that would have made it even better, was if Sian could have come along as well. Everyone missed her and wished she could have been there, to complete the picture.

As Norwegians always do at Easter, if they can, they get their skiing gear out and on, ideally accompanied by the sun:
